About Kenter Initiative
Our Mission Statement
To convince “big” Navy, and the entirety of the Department of Defense, that it is a strategic necessity to include spouses/family in policy decision making and implementation.
Our Team
Lara served as active duty Navy for 15 years and wrote her dissertation for her Phd on this topic alone . Kate is a certified death doula, advanced care planner and a real estate agent. Both are married to Navy service members with children.
Our Approach
Take our combined experience of over 40 years in service to our country and husbands, research all the things that have bothered us or we felt in adequate about, add a four person advisory board to help us along the way and come up with products useful to our cause.
